Interesting take on the matter. Although I agree with you about the importance of dietary moderation, I find the perceived downside of blotting to be rather brash.

The pizza itself is 99% of the problem, the blotting is a mere triviality. If you want to live a healthy life, then quit pizza. The odd pizza cheats you have once a year shouldn’t be a subject of blotting debate then.

Plus, overly greasy pizzas are just a pain to eat. To blot or not is a matter of convenience.
